“Birds of the Alebashevo Lake”, 2019

near the Alebashevo Lake, Tumen

Ornithologists’ studies suggest that birds sing differently at different periods of their lives. During the year the Alebashevo Lake inhabits about 140 different species. The majority of nightingales in the area nest here. However, you can either approach the lake, or hear the birds, walking deep into the forest. The artist suggests to combine these experiences via birds language, written as letters on utility poles. Sometimes, written statements of the birds overlap with the human ones.
