Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad Oblast
The project explores the space of the urban beach in the city of Sosnovy Bor through sound observations. Nine places with different soundscapes were selected: on the beach, on the coastline, in the forest, by the river, etc. At each place there is a sign with the recording of sounds at different hours.
A special graphic language has been developed to record sound, depending on the source and its characteristics. A visitor can approach each visualisation and compare it with their own sonic experience.
